Endoscopic skull base and brain tumor research and published papers: Skull Base Institute

Work at the Skull Base Institute has been progressing at an amazing pace, as we pass the 6,000 case milestone for the endoscopic removal of skull base tumors. Our patients have come from all fifty states and from as far as Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, France, Guatemala, Israel, Italy, Japan, Poland and Switzerland.

The Skull Base Institute has partnered with NASA’s Jet propulsion Laboratory to once again, innnovate the field of skull base surgery. This collaboration includes 3D endoscopic visualization, mechanized optical rotating platforms and 3D panoramic displays for an even more minimally invasive and precise approach to the surgical treatment of skull base brain tumors.
